Home Use Program – What you need to do to get Office Legally
If your company has an Enterprise Agreement with Microsoft and they opt into this program, then you are able to participate. Depending on the country you live in will determine the price you pay.
To check if you qualify go to www.microsofthup.com and put in your work email address into the check box. If you don’t have a Program Code click the link that says “ Don’t Know You Program Code” and a check will be done using your email address only.
If you are eligible for the Home Use Program Microsoft will send you a link to install Office 365 for PC or Mac to your Work Email address. As the link will download and install your software its best to forward your email to your home address PC where you will be installing Office 2016.
Once you have clicked Buy Now you will need to pay via credit card or PayPal. You will then be given your Serial Install Key and options to Download and Install. You can also include for an extra fee some backup media like a DVD of the office to be sent out. Be sure to right down or copy all serial keys and take a backup of the downloaded software.
So What is included in Office Professional Plus?
Office Professional Plus includes:
- Skype for Business.
If you are having problems sending email with Outlook 2016 and Windows 10 check out this fix here. It’s mainly affecting Telstra Bigpond users but there have been other reports of sending issues with other ISPs.
Office Professional is a fantastic upgrade from Office the standard version so even if you have Office Professional go ahead and spend the extra and get the newer version you won’t be disappointed
